| man, i forgot how awesome xanga is. until ryan mcintyre reminded me the other night. he was right, as he is usually right. life has changed a fair amount since i started posting on this thing. i'm a student again. i'm back at greenville tech finishing up my second semester. that's going really good, i even made the dean's list. work is going good too. i am still working at recall. outside of that i've been reading comic books a fair amount and going to the gym too. i haven't found any good games for wii that i feel motivated to play, other than wii sports and elibits. there is a new lightsaber fighting game coming out today though, that could be cool. i really want guitar hero for christmas. the world tour version. i've got nothing else to say for now. | | |
| it took me a long time to figure out how to post a new entry. i'm not the time dedicated to figuring it out is worth the actual entry itself, but anywho... three years ago i moved out of the house. i got an apartment with john. it was the summer of 2005. i remember watching harold and kumar a lot. a new weezer album was coming out. i was really excited about the new batman movie that was coming out. the summer of 2008 is now upon us (soon anyways). still have the apartment. a new harold and kumar movie is coming out. a new weezer album is coming out. i'm excited about the new batman movie coming out. not that most of that stuff matters, but it's cool that 3 years later the same cool stuff is happening again. i don't really haven important things to write just now. | | |
| well it's 2008 now. awesome. I've been posting on this thing for over 3 years. it's been a wild 3 years, so here's to that!

| haven't posted in ages.
first off, i recorded a song yesterday that i enjoy. it's up on my music profile...www.myspace.com/danieltappmusic
i've started my "new years resolutions" early. here is the listed and what i've done thus far to reach my goals
1) get in shape - this has been an on and off goal for ages. i don't have a specific goal. i did get an iPod for Christmas. i have been to the gym multiple times on the treadmill. i did good with this about a year ago, but after a few months went back to drinking tons of beer and eating bad food. so long as i keep a better diet and keep up with this i'll be good. it's hard to do this when none of your friends exercise, but i will do my best to uphold this.
2) listen to albums all the way through - i never do this and want to hear music in the order that the artist intended it to be heard. i feel like a great way to do this is to get new albums i've never heard and experience it that way. i am really enjoying this laura veirs album, it's awesome. again, the iPod is a big help in this department.
3) READ - i never really read. i'm working on a few books right now. this one shouldn't be too hard.
4) music - hopefully my band will play some shows and post some music online. we have tinkered around on a few demos but not really put too much effort into being a band. we recently discussed this and are planning to become a real band.
5) tattoo - i've always entertained the idea, but think this may be the year that i actually get one.
6) use my juicer - i rarely use it. juice is awesome.
well, that's all i can think of for now. i enjoy Rome is the Mob's (www.myspace.com/romeisthemob) demo song.
